Our understanding of cardiorespiratory physiology in fishes continues to make important advances. This symposium will draw together researchers from around the world to highlight what these advances have been. The papers will span several levels of biological organization from the molecular through to the whole animal, including the latest insights gained from fish telemetry studies. There will be a focus on underlying mechanisms, as well as on adaptations and responses to changing environments.
