Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentations

  1. All Symposium presentations will have 20 min time slots (includes questions).
  2. Protocol for presentations:

    1. Presentation design: Presentations are to be designed using MS Powerpoint (save to Office ‘98 or 2000 preferred) and saved on a CD-R disk.
    2. Your presentations are needed in the Media Center(Ponderosa and Tamarack Rooms)  as soon as you arrive and register- Please give your CD to the technicians and we will load your PFIRM presentation on the conference laptops no later than the day before your paper and prior to Monday, June 16 if at all possible. For speakers presenting on Monday, please provide your presentations to the media center on Sunday evening. Look for the signs at the registration desk

    Media Center Hours:      

        3pm to 7 pm Sunday June 15

        7am to 6pm Monday Tuesday June 16 & 17

        7am to noon Wednesday, June 17                                   

    1. Should embedded video be required, please meet in advance with AV technicians to confirm hardware and software compatibility.
    2. No ZIP disks or personal laptops, if at all possible.
    3. A digital projectors and computers are available for you to preview presentations and get internet access in the Board Room.

    Board Room Hours:       

         4pm to 9pm Sunday June 15

         7am to 10pm Monday, Tuesday June 16 & 17

                           7am to 5pm Wednesday, June 17

Poster Presentations

  1. Space available for each Poster is 4 ft X 4 ft (1.25 X1.25 m). We will provide pins to tack to the poster boards.
